Hi guys, I have decided to get a luminaire from EQJ Trading off ebay.

here is the one i am getting

I will change the bulbs when it arrives. This should be good shoudlnt it to go along with a nutrafin co2 kit with DIY yeast mixture. Its only a small 2foot 14gal tank.

That's quite a bit of light, I would want to make sure I had a decent and stable 30ppm co2 in the tank before adding all the light. BTW you might find those light tubes work ok, yes they are 10,000k but so long as they not produce to much blue they should be ok. You could try ringing them and asking them to change them before you order it, their website www.eqj-trading.com sells daylight (6500k) tubes, certainly worth a try? Dont suppose its any skin off their nose and if they wont you could just get two tubes from them anyway, as they were very cheap last time I checked, save on have two lots of postage too :)

I bought my luminaire from the same place and the light with it were too green (10000k), not blue, I have changed them, but make sure you can get replacement lights with right wattage for that type of luminaire
