Not trying to stir or anything but you the post which credits ice was edited just after you said you had given credit to him, Unless you edited it for another reason. Just an observation

Sorry to hear this Iceweb, I did not scrutinise the email and even if I had I don't think I would have suspected the email to be anything other than 55gallons If you want it removed from the rotation let me know, as it is your work.

Incedently guys, we have had a new idea and will not be holding the competition today, we hope to announce something more fully over the next few days, thanks!

Wow, I guess I missed a lot here then! Over the time this was running (till the 29th april or so I recieved a barrage of emails of people who loved the idea). Score! But these people suggested that they liked the whole banner rotator thing much better than there just being one eventual winner. As such I decided to let it run and see how much bandwidth and other expensive things it chewed through, and the good news is not as much as feared!! Yes there is a more, but at the moment it is not a major problem ( silver you asked in another post it is my own dedicated server: http/www.bash.sh/servers/images/servers.jpg it is the 2nd one down in that photo ) Now it has a label as well which is nice. My brother runs the hosting account (*advertising mode* it's actually good value: www.bash.sh and I pay the same price as others except I get some extra bandwidth.)

Ok I've got sidetracked... but... basically I did not anticipate any objections to keeping the rotation going, and I guess you guys aren't opposing you just weren't sure what was happening which is why I started this very post!!

Also, if anyone has any ideas to keep the rotation "interesting" as it could get stale after a while perhaps we introduce #2 new banners a month and move out 2 (or something) or do we just let it roll, this (20) is about as many banners as I can run without the bandwidth increasing beyond my finances!!

I also like the idea of rotation because they are all good......I think I would miss seeing some of them.....

One idea though............we could have a vote, like we were going to, on the best one and it could go in the Tropical Chit Chat area and then the rest could get designated to their own Forums??? ) That's just one idea!! But I do like the rotation......
