those are some really cool loaches iv never seen them before. how big do they get and how big is that clown he looks big.

Mostly small fish.

The clown is around 5"...I got him at 2.5" two years ago. The smaller clowns are this size now.
The kuhlis are around 3.5", the maassi's are a little smaller, thermalis is a bit over 2", confusona's around 3.25",...

(I think this is the less gravid one, there are two.)

Asaik, no reported spawns, but then it is not clear if specimens like this are common or if anyone tried to spawn them. No reason to think they cannot be spawned.

I've been yelled at already for not trying the obvious things like cooler water... I'm a bit afraid of hurting them and there is no chance of fry surviving in this tank anyway. I've seen Sewellia's spawning repeatedly (no babies) and I also see the Confuzona's hunting something on the ground...this fish may look clumsy but it is very strong and pushes stones away looking for something there....
One day I may have the nerve to try.... Need to practice on some replaceable fish first, like cories ....
