New Lionfish

My goodness sis I am very impressed - have you read that book I bought you for Christmas from cover to cover :good:

Love Big Sis x

I would actually regard dwarf fuzzy lionfish as the most personable and active lionfish.

Fu manchus, if I remember correctly, can be very difficult to feed. Radiated and Antennata lionfish, Pterois radiata and P. antennata, are easier to keep.

You have got me wondering if i do have a fuzzy now Lynden? It certainly looks like one but is not active at all throughout the day. It is visible however just not active, as soon as the aquarium lights go off it ventures straight off its favourite rock and searches the tank for food.
Do you think it is just a matter of the fish settling in first or is this normal behaviour?

I'm a little confused now

To Clarify is D. biocellatus commonly known as the Twospot turkeyfish, Twinspot lionfish, or Fu Manchu Lionfish? and this is what i do not have?

D. brachypterus is the shortfin turkeyfish, dwarf lionfish or Fuzzy Lionfish? and this is what i have?

If i could get better photos i know it would help.

D. brachypterus is the shortfin turkeyfish, dwarf lionfish or Fuzzy Lionfish? and this is what i have? Yes again :good:

As Andy says the D. biocellatus has two very noticable eyespots, and can't see them on the photos you've posted
