update: it is now in half-sunset form, looking amazing!!!

I love the corydoras! I have pepper and pygmy cories, are your green corydoras similar in size to peppers?

yes, my pepper corys were being fiesty and i couldn't get a good photo
they are still small
do you have an idea why they are red instead of green?
all of them turned that bronze red within a month...

You have blue green algae on the plants in the bottom picture. Reduce the amount of dry food and do more gravel cleans and water changes.

Do you know the scientific name? I know that green can also be bronze, but could also be emerald? Maybe?

As you can tell, I am not good at telling the different corydoras species apart. I only know bits and bobs here and there.

The color change could have been that they were stressed at the shop, but are now showing better colors since they are more settled?

The cories in your photos are bronze cories aka green cories, Corydoras aeneus

Emerald cories aka green cories are Corydoras splendens
These used to be be called Brochis splendens.
