With the input from several board members, I rehomed my 2 Odessa barbs and snow tetra. One because they were nippy with my neons and they really needed to be kept with a decent size school and I wasn't about to do that. So after I rehoused them, I went and got a pair of Kribs. So far, so good with them getting along with my pair of Bolivian Rams.

I believe they're standard tank bred. They appear to be really perking up now. the male even seems to appear to be courting the female.

Question though..in the tank in seperate containers, they had kribs labeled as "super red males". I asked the guy, and he said theyre specificaly bred for colorations. BS, right?

:dunno: darned if i know what a "super red" krib is.

what size tank do you have the rams and kribs in? you're probably going to have some major conflicts as each pair attempts to enter breeding mode...

if your kribs are over an inch long and purpling up, they'll breed soon. mine had their first batch at about 9 months of age. so even if you do have babies, you've really only got a couple of months before there's going to be issues.
