"No one is a failure unless you try"
I trap feral cats with a rescue organization once a week, and today we helped a lady who works at Dell trap some cats at her work... there were 3 kittens who are young enough to be socialized and rehomed, just weaned, but the problem is that the rescue is completely full right now and can't take them. The lady agreed to take all of them, but she clearly has no idea what she's going to do with them, so I offered to take one, as that's all I can comfortably fit in my apartment. Tomorrow I am going to try to get it vet-checked (or at least make an appointment), but for now it has to stay locked up in my bathroom away from Diva, my other cat. It is very scared and feral-y, but doesn't make a move to bite or scratch when handled. It's a little girl, and I'll be naming her assuming she checks out negative for FeLV and FIV . I am just fostering her for the time being. I'm going to find a rescue to adopt her out through, but I will be housing her until she finds a permanent home. I don't have room to keep two cats on a permanent basis unfortunately, and if I did, I'd be adopting Diva's sister.
