I trap feral cats with a rescue organization once a week, and today we helped a lady who works at Dell trap some cats at her work... there were 3 kittens who are young enough to be socialized and rehomed, just weaned, but the problem is that the rescue is completely full right now and can't take them. The lady agreed to take all of them, but she clearly has no idea what she's going to do with them, so I offered to take one, as that's all I can comfortably fit in my apartment. Tomorrow I am going to try to get it vet-checked (or at least make an appointment), but for now it has to stay locked up in my bathroom away from Diva, my other cat. It is very scared and feral-y, but doesn't make a move to bite or scratch when handled. It's a little girl, and I'll be naming her assuming she checks out negative for FeLV and FIV ^_^. I am just fostering her for the time being. I'm going to find a rescue to adopt her out through, but I will be housing her until she finds a permanent home. I don't have room to keep two cats on a permanent basis unfortunately, and if I did, I'd be adopting Diva's sister.

Awww, she's a cutie for sure! BTW I love your DUMB PAJAMAS! I refuse to wear jammies unless they're covered in paw prints, leopard prints, etc. but my favorites by far are my Taz jammies, so cute and comfy!

why did u have to post these pics lol!
very cute kitten, wish i could squeeze one more pet in the house!

she is a cutie  (no worries about the pjs; my favorite pair are covered in frogs wearing scarves and gloves...)

whatever happened to the little boy kitten you were going to foster for a while? i could have sworn you mentioned one coming out of the same feral colony that Diva came from...

Or bless her, i n good shape for a ferel cat.

Someone else took it before I had the chance, lol! No sweat, he went to a foster that already had a couple of kittens for him to play with.

We got vet-checked today, and everything looks good! ^_^
No ear mites, no fleas, no worms, NOTHING! I can't believe it! That's probably from living on concrete her entire life... The vet did a fecal test and said that while there were no worms, it was full of beetle shells and lots of odds and ends, so obviously the poor thing wasn't getting enough to eat where she was and was resorting to catching bugs for dinner. She is 6-7 weeks old he said. Unfortunately she's too young for an accurate FIV/FeLV test, so she'll have to stay separated from Diva for 6 weeks until she's old enough, but that's ok, I can just lock her up in the fish room while I'm gone during the day.

I saw two strays at my apartment complex tonight too and fed them some tuna... next week when I go trapping I am going to bring a couple of traps back with me and try to get these cats. They are too old to be socialized, but we can at least get them spayed/neutered and rerelease them.

EDIT for pics:
