They are very addictive. Ask Beth who started with 4 or 5; said I'm not getting anymore and it's crept up to 10 now hahaha.

I want a tank upgrade to get more girls too . I'm being let loose on a LFS tomorrow; they had a gorgous cambodian in last week so I might be coming home with her (although I am going to look at their plants (50p per bunch as opposed to 3 for £10 from the chain stores)).

i found a place that does custom made tanks, with cabinets, 18x18x18 (96ltr) for £150, with delivery, £200, bargain i reckon

Thats not too bad especally with stands.

The tip is to buy the biggest tank you can afford and that will fit

actually going back on that, found a jewel rio 125, with heater, lights, filter and stand for £195 on seapets

You should have a look around your LFS and see what tanks they have; they might have some on offer when you are there, or one of mine often has a sale on, so you might pick up something quite cheap (and stay away from the betta tanks until you get your new tank). lol

I generally have a look on gumtree or places like that i did get my 200L Fluval Roma for around £200 with Heater and Filter External job too then i made the biggest mistake in my fish keeping career, ordered a bag of pea gravel which turned out to be a 1 Ton bag from a gardening place that does ponds.

You do have some lovely fish though just wish places near me had decent females
