New Guy Hello !

Hi I'm Shaun from Kent , I have just started new tank (a week ago ,fish less cycle still) I'm a complete novice ,
Just want to say hello " Hello " and that this is a great site to learn from , have leant loads already and chatted to a few guys in chat section and everyone is very helpful,
Just look forward to picking everyone's brains with the typical noob questions

I'm using "nutrafin cycle & nutrafin +plus " to treat water as that came as a kit when I bought the tank

OK, I wondered as much. The Nutrafin Plus is a dechlorinator. That's fine, you always need to use it. The Cycle stuff is a bacteria supplement. Many people, myself included, do not think that the majority of these products do much good.
 
Have a look at this thread here, it details "proper" fishless cycling, and you will need to bottled ammonia to do it. If (when!) you have questions, feel free to post them in the New To The Hobby section, however stupid you think they might be - we've all been beginners once, and we can all remember how it feels!
