These two finally came in the mail for me today, I'm expecting more tomorrow (6 copper plakat juvies + extras). The male has settled in to one of my 10 gallons (I kicked Iota out and into a 1 gallon, sorry Iota,) and the female is in Mini's old 2.5 gallon... I thought it was appropriate. It's good to have a DT female in there again
Both newcomers have already had a meal of frozen white mosquito larvae.

Anyway, here's the stunner of a male. Copper-black CT plakat. You'll just have to trust me when I say he's copper, the pics make him look black orchid, I know

Sooo metallic and gorgeous, but I don't like his face much, lol

And the female, still very pale from shipping. She's copper as well.... redwash as you can see, but you can't have it all

Hmmm, very nice, very nice. I like the male, his face does look a bit rounded to me, though. Doesn't really have that nice betta slant and upturn that makes them look tough.

Chunky lady!. I like her. He has lots of color for just shipping and all. I kinda like the short bodied plakats. I wonder if he has more wild in him.
