New Guppy Fry :-D

Hey, So yesterday I noticed my Guppy was acting very strange, swimming up & down the tank very quickly! I put her into a breeding trap at 7.30pm and turned out the lights. I checked her 1 hour later and there were 9 fry in the bottom

Im feeding them finely crushed flakes 3-4 times daily and so far they are doing great

Cool! Do you have a new tank to raise them in- they will not grow well in a breeding trap unless it's huge.

How do you know they are eating Wilky87? I have 7 platy fry, a few days old and I'm really not sure if they are eating Maybe the size/roundness of their stomachs? How do you tell?

Inspiration - when you feed them watch to see if they go to the surface and take some?

With my guppy fry at the moment every time i feed them they come to the surface and you can see them eat it (there on baby food) ...so that's the best way to tell if there feeding.

Yeah, they do tend to mouth at the food that I put in, but not as greedily or readily as the larger platys that I have. Makes me wonder if they even know that its food Thanks btw

Well guys, they have grown loads I crushed up the flakes and sprinkled them into the tank, then submerged some in the water to sink.

Guess what?!?! My other female guppy gave birth the other night! Its all happening in my tank lmao!

Great, i kept hold of 3 and gave the rest away, the bigger fish are trying to get them but they are big anough and fast enough to get away
