I've never thought about breeding my Licorice Gourami. I hear its tricky. How are your Parosphromenus linkei fry?

I've never thought about breeding my Licorice Gourami. I hear its tricky. How are your Parosphromenus linkei fry?

Its trickier to raise them in any kind of numbers than it is to spawn them.. They are very prolific when kept in the right water, mine were spawning every few days, quite often i would find fresh eggs amongst hatched larvae. They are delicate fish and require plenty of work to raise them up, the few i have now are quite hardy and are looking good, pretty slow growing though. I love this group of fish and am always on the lookout for other species to breed.

Thanks for the warm welcome, we currently have plenty of snow so it looks similar to canada here!! Just the excuse to stop work and get the sledge out with the kids!!!
