Well, it had to happen, both myself and the mrs decided that the Salivator Puffer couldnt have a tank to himself anylonger, so he has been sold. The Killie pair, Khulies and possibly the BN Plecs will move to his old tank and that left a space in this tank ;)

so.....

They will pack ambush prey, working as a team lol

They have settled in nicely now, and have both coloured up :)

Nice fish, good to see the tanks nicely planted too, I think its essential for their well being. They have massive eyes compared to their bodys.

Yer they seem to like the darker areas, so im allowing the Red Lilly to grow pads until i can get hold of some nice floating plants. Although im not entirely certain of which floating plant to go for. Id like something that is robust but has a long floating root for them to hide in if possible.

any ideas?

I use that common weed that you see in all aquarium shops in my tanks, has long roots, but not that many of them. The best one to go for with lots of roots is duckweed. Search it on ebay, there should be some for sale :good:

Why would you want to put duckweed it your tanks? It's awful to control and annoying in the fact you stick your hand in the tank, pull it out and your arm is covered in the stuff.

Salvinia, Amazon frogbit, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Hydrocotyle leucocephala, Hornwort or something along those lines, they are a lot easier to manage.

Ive never persoanlly used it, but it looks good to me...
When I had hornwort, I found that really annoying because of all the little bits that came off it...
