New fish

My LFS has about 10 tanks, there about 15 miles away, so they suck.
Last Friday I took my wife to the pet discount wherehouse (30 miles away), I called and they finaly has some kuhli loaches (been waiting 5 months). I took my wife, told her I was just gonna buy 5 of these and we can go home.
When she saw the fish she went crazy. She bought 12 neons, 12 cardinals, 12 white clouds and the 5 kuhli loaches. Then she bought me another tank, they had a 20gal with hood on sale for $40, also she bought a large piece of driftwood, enough plants to fill my 55, some stress coat and a bunch of brine shrimp.
What was going to be me spending $6 on a few loaches turned out to be her spending $140 on a bunch of stuff.

Just had a child

no promotion.
My wife love animals, she never seen that many tropical fish though, that's why she went crazy.
She was just blown away with the way they look.

Your baby is gorgeous!! Congrats on getting all the new stuff. My dh is a bit frugal so I know he'd never do all that. If I want lots of $$ in fish stuff I have to get it myself. Although I hadn't considered favors....

Thank you all for the comments on my daughter, it's that Filipino/Caucasian mix. She takes all our spare time, but she's well worth it.
Thats another reason my wife had no problem spening all that money, she figured our little girl would enjoy looking at the tank.
