NEW FISH!!!!!!!

Today I bought two young gold severums, 6 large zebra danios, and a red and white marble betta! I'm sooooo happy ! Right now I'm acclimating them slowly. I'll try to get pics later!

Congrats on the new arrivals. Where have you put them?

My signature is wrong, but I put the 6 danios in the 29 gallon, and the baby severums are in the 10 gallon until I get my 55 gallon, and the betta is in a betta hex.

Gold sevs are cool fish they grow to be quite large , I had two that got to be around 8 inches. They are pretty peacful until they mate. Will eat your danios, betta ,and swords for sure. May get your groumis too. especialy when mating. They will even bite you while mating.

Hopefully the 55 will be for them only. You can add some other fish too . I had mine with silver dollars. and large angel fish. Did quite well toghether.

Maybe they aren't a pair Sevs are awesome, they're almost like dogs, some will try to rub against your hand when you move stuff in the tank They can also make a mess, moving plants, gravel, etc

Right now the severums are the only ones in the tank. We suspect that they are a pair. When I get the 55 gallon, they will also be alone. This morning they were pigs ! I gave them plankton and bloodworms, and they ate both really fast! I'm still working on naming them. I do have a name for my new betta though. Because my other betta is SpearMint, my new one is PepperMint. My danios are so fast that I can't name them on their personality, so I might just have to think of a few names. I'm still trying to get pics!

I finally named the biggest(supposedly female) Hermy. I named her after Hermione in the Harry Potter series. The smallest(supposedly male) has no name yet. I'm still thinking about his.
