yesterday my dad bought a new 150 gallon aquarium and the previous owner thought that he only had oscars and plecos in it but found this guy hanging out int the bottom. Does anyone happen to know what he is? He buries into the sand in this small medical tank I have and seems to enjoy being able to dig whenever he wants. I just don’t have any information on how to care for him and the previous owners have no idea what type of fish he is. If you have an idea drop it below!

Cool looking whatever he is, I kinda want one now  :fish:

looks like a very skinny pleco to me...drop in an algae wafer every day or two to fatten him up

Metalhead88 got it right.

It's a skinny Banjo Catfish. You need to make sure it gets fed regularly with meat based foods.

If you have a hollow log or pvc pipe in the tank, it might use that instead of burying itself. This will allow you to monitor it more easily.

A Banjo Catfish was my guess, make sure it has plenty of hiding spaces and make sure to feed it often.
