New Fish

hi,

ive just bought a new fish but i dont acctually know what its called.
it looks like a catfish or could even be a plec
its stripey and the stripes run from head to tail longways
the sign on the tank read 'chocolate deoderin/deodera/deoradin<---i dont know how to spell this, ive googled all the different spellings i can think of but i get no results
its definatly not a chocolate zebra plec as it looks quite different in shape
i tried to get a picture but he likes to hide constantly

any help would be greatly apreciated

it sounds like a striped raphael catfish, a pic would be great, but if it is brown with tanish strips and a large head that slopes into the tail and also has spines along its lateral line, then its most likly a striped raphel catfish
