New Fish. Unknown.

Hi folks i got 2 fish from a guy the other day, was told they were red stripped eartheaters . Unsure of that kind of fish. Went to LFS and asked about it. They had never heard of them. Waiting to hear back from LFS on information about them. So was wondering if anyone knows here what they are. Thanks.

If you can post a picture for us that would be helpful. According to google though red striped eartheater would be geophagus surinamensis.
