I got 3 angel fish and 3 black molly's at my local pets at home store, however the fish seem in great condition as they usually are from there. However ive had them in there for a couple of days and ive tried feeding them flake and they dont seem to keen, theyre slow to come to top aswell and when they are at top bit hesitant, they seem to take frozen dried bloodworm okay, but even then still slow to come to top. any tips for ex new food i could try or methods. im a begginer to tropical fish keeping

ANGELS are cyclids; which, as other mostly carnivour fishes, need some variety in their diet.   If I were you, first  I would try dry bloodworms, and  then move to flakes high in an animal protein source.  Then, finally would try the more omnivorous flakes.

I feed my fish a wide variety of things...flake food, frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms. I had a few that wouldn't eat the flake food and after mixing some flake with freeze dried brine shrimp, They now eat everything!!

Wow! You 2 have been browsing the old records here eh?
Pauldon, if you happen to pop back in, sorry for ignoring your topic.
So as to my answer, try to hand feed with blood worms for a bit and then hand feed them flake. Keep hand feeding flake until they are willing enough to hunt for the flake.

When I first introduced fish to my tank they wouldn't eat flakes for 2 days. I put it down to a new tank new surroundings. After day 3 they are like savages.
Good luck with hand feeding them, hope they eat soon.
