I will be! Beginning to think it may be a combination of a faulty gasket plus the top doesn't actually clip down very tightly. Think the unit will be getting sent back for a replacement!

Might even work out better since I accidentally chopped the intake hose too short!

Well my girlfriend got a refund from the company on Amazon that sold her it - I didn't want a replacement incase it was a bad batch.

So yesterday we went out to Maidenhead in Glasgow and picked up a new 206.

Just set it up and all seems well so far! Clips down much better and currently no leaks (touch wood!).

So my 200L tank is now filtered via a 205 (running 4 foams, 1 basket of fluval pre-filter, 2 baskets of biomax) 206 (running 4 foams, 2 baskets of biomax with a layer of filter floss ontop of each, 1 basket of a water polishing pad and Purigen ontop of that) a U4 (running the usuals) and also currently has a U2 in it at the moment (seeding the filter for my girlfriend's tank once it's fully set up)... The fish will be loving the clean water!!

Would be nice if you could do a review on the 205 and 206 with pics so that people can see the differences. Also be great if you could do a lph test once the 06 has cycled.

I did use the nitrate removing media for a couple months. If you follow instructions and charge it weekly it really works. After they were gone they never went back up either. So between that and weekly 20%changes it did work good. Just thought i would share. Good luck with the new filter.

Which media was that?

On another note - Purigen is amazing! My tank went from tea coloured to this in a matter of hours! (Of which I was out the house so amazed when I got back to see it how it now is)
