Auratus
Why am I browsing a fish forum at 2am?
Went to a rescue about 3 and a half hours south and picked up this great dane at a fox terrier rescue of all places. She's about a year old and 125lbs. Merle.
She almost ripped my arm off And what's worse is she has NO leash manners. I'm thinking tug-o-war is not a good great dane game.
Whoever let her wander the streets had her ears cropped when she was a puppy and then didn't pin them (ughhh people ) so they flop infront of her face when she plays and she looks like a rabbit and they look cropped when she lays down.
This is how they would look if they were cropped. We are going to ask the vet if they will hold up if we pin them again for a few weeks but the cartledge is already healed in this weird half up, half down position. I was thinking since she's already had all the major cutting done... if she just had to go under anesthesia for a few minutes and have a few minor cuts to get them cropped and pinned again I would be willing to pay for that, but I don't want to put her through it
Buuuuuuuut, that's my new dog. Her name is Dolly
