after the steep learning curve in discus keeping with problems encounted by starting with poor quality fish im finally in a good routine and starting to finally enjoy them. i was left with 3 better quality that i got from a local supplier. yesterday i went back to him and got 3 more which i am very pleased with, they have settled straight in and made my others less skittish. in the video the new ones are the albino yellow crystal, the pigeon blood and the smallest which is a blue scorpion snakeskin. i filmed this on my phone when i was doing a water change so its a bit messy. id like your comments as im still a discus novice, even picking faults as i want to learn all i can. thanks for viewing.

They look good and healthy. Do you have any cover in the tank like sticks or wood? I know lots of discus freaks keep then in bare tank but personally I find that boring for me and the fish. Giving the fish some shelter to hide if spooked is good IMO.

What is the tank temp? I know from experience that high temps will shorten the lives of panda corys.

the tank was empty because of the water change, it normally has bogwood in there aswell. i know the merits of bare bottom tanks but i like to keep it like a show tank.

the temps running at 30oC and i know some corys arent good at that heat, also them corys arent panda but matae. they will be getting moved shortly so they are only sterbai in there.

Oh that makes sense I don't do bear bottom tanks. I think sand works well.
