got them from essex discus. The yellow crystal has now gone orange due to the red in the tetra prima that i feed them, gona change the food but does anyone know if the yellow will come back.

Maybe. I stopped feeding my Discus color pellets, and one of my Discus went from a bright orange to a dull pinkish base color. Once the Astaxanthin is out of the fishes system the color should change.

Discus do change color as they grow, so it might also possibly have to do with it growing up. Depends though.
