well i have finally got my new corys in my tanks and some.. hopefully soon to be spawning. i purchased 8 F1 corydoras weitzmani as well as a breeding group of 9 corydoras burgessi.

here are a few pics of the c. burgessi.

and a bad pic of the c. weitzmani... they are very skittish and hide alot in the back of the tank so this will have to do for now.

those are some real nice corys congratulations on your new additions

i will get more pictures of the Corydoras weitzmani possibly on the weekend and post them for you. those right now have to be my most prized posession in my fishroom... and also were the most expensive.. ;)

Very nice! I have not seen these for sale over here in the UK. In my area, we are lucky if we get Corys such as Cory Juliis in stock more than 5 times a year! I may start looking into buying over the internet if our stock doesn't improve soon. :(

Great pics by the way, look forward to seeing some more! :)

a quick update.. i came home at lunch to find the pair of c. burgessi i seperated spawning.. the mop was full of eggs and she was still going strong. will have to wait until i am done work to see how many eggs i removed from the mop. ohh.. i am so excited.

What kind of "mop" are you using?

just a DIY floating yarn spawning mop... nothing special.. takes about 1 minute to build.

also counted over 80 eggs from the burgessi and i think they still may be spawning
