hi, i went to the garden centre down the road a few mins ago for dog food and a couple of other things. i looked for some more Corydoras copei, but they only had a few tiny trilineatus. but they had bronze corys for £1.99 each at about an inch long. so, i bought six, i think it's 2 females and 4 males, but i'm not too sure. i haven't let them out of the bag yet, as i'm acclimatising them. here are some pics of them in the bag. :D

cheers :good:

thanks, i've just let them out now.

is it just me, or is this one a bit deformed? it seems really short and fat, more compact, if you get what i mean?

this is the biggest female (i think), with a male behind it.

and this is 2 males with a female behind.

i've noticed that they are a lot more active than the C. copei, but the C. copei are coming out more already, now they've got some new friends.

what do you think? :good:

BTW, i just put the light on for the pics, i'm leaving it off now to let them settle in. :good:

Hi pest control :)

That looks like a nice bunch of cory you have there. I wouldn't worry about the short, fat one unless it has a deformed spine or something like that. :D

thanks, that's a relief :good: the C. copei are swimming about a lot more already. before they just used to hide in the plants. i'm hoping to breed them in the future, so i'll let you know how that goes. i've noticed that a couple of the males follow each female a lot, could this be a sign of them breeding? they're only about an inch long now though, so are they too young?

cheers :good:
