Saw some adult Gold Lazers at my lfs, were from a breeder. I bought 5 because the lovely lfs owner reduced them from 32.50 each to 25 each for me.
I got a BIG MAMA, but they are all pretty big except for one.

Gonna give a real crack at breeding em...
Gotta get some frozen bloodworms :)

$25 each? That seems like alot to me :S really nice Cories though, good job :)

That is interesting that they are sold as Gold Laser. Because they do look really similar to my Orange Lasers.
Maybe I have Gold Laser also and do not know it.

gold,orange... same thing lol.. they are actually sold as peru gold shoulders but they are lasers im pretty sure cos peru gold shoulders only have an orange mark at the shoulder not alon gthe whole body as with these guys.

 Those are some stunners you have there. Great find. I don't think $25-00 is too expensive. The exchange today is $2.25 for every £1-00.

They look like gorgeous specimens, well worth the money. I hope you have plenty of joy with them Kuhni. As I've read before, you guys battle down in Oz to get variety of corys.

:good:

Hi Kuhni :)

It looks like you found some some nice, healthy looking fish too.

Best of luck with them!

$25 is really good. I bought C.Adolfi for $17 at my LFS. Have only seen Albino Sterbai here in one shop for i think $25. Ive never seen orange lasers in Aus before. Yay another Australia Cory nuts on TFF hehe.

I'm jealous you could find them. I got 2 a month ago at my lfs. That was all they had. Someone redoing their tank traded them in. I paid $8.99 each, but I know they often sell their traded in stock for half price. They said they hadn't gotten them (lazers) in for over a year. I really would love a few more. I kind of feel like a bad mom! In the meantime, they have some sterbai friends. One doesn't really like to play with them, but the other loves his adopted family. (Sterbai at my lfs run between $10 and $15 depending on how large they are. Enjoy your beautiful new babies!

I thought instead of creating a new thread, I'd just add the snaps I took of my cories to this thread.

My Rabauti love to pose

Couple more of my Gold Lasers, sooo hard to take photos of them. Usually only the lil one ventures close enough to the front glass for me to take a few snaps but geez he never stops for a break :p
