New Cories!

Mine are in a gravel tank and are just fine. I can see where they have been bury their noses in to look for food.

Sinking shrimp pellets are good. I feed them those when I turn off the lights at night.

But other than that mine eat blood worms and "community feast" which is a red frozen meal with heart and shrimps etc in it. They love it.

In regards to the fighter fish and corys topic. It does depend on the fighter itself. I have a fighter in with some of my corys and is fine. Ive had my fight since it was very small and it has always been in a community tank. There has been cases where they change their mind over night and attack anything in the tank. So just be cautious and monitor the tank when a fighter is in it. My 2cents

My cories love their algea it seems. I put in a very small bit of it as it seems to expand and it takes them quite a while to eat it. They'll ignore it for about 10 seconds until one notices it, then the all swarm it lol.

I've found they also loooooove peas. It gives them lots of excersize combing over the whole bottom and decorations looking for bits of pea that have scattered

Apparently my betta thinks hes a cory too, hes always nuzzling under thinks and slinking through my javamoss pecking at the bottom.

LOL - I thought my betta was the only one to do that! Hubby and I joke that he's been brainwashed into thinking he's a cory since he likes to hang out at the bottom of the tank with them and will try to snap up fallen food.
