Please dont notice the ugly castle. Its the only thing I had and they needed a place to hide until I can put more stuff in the tank. I will try and get some better pics later on when they are a little more settled in. Any comments? :good:

Wow soo cool those things have long snouts :D Gorgeous Cories :good:

They have very beautiful skin, and cute faces too! Are you sure they are cories though? As you can get lots of things that look similar to corys, but actually aren't corys.

I always thought of Cories as the "happy, jovial, fun" type of bottom dweller....always running round playing.

.....they look scary -_- -_- :look: :look:

....nice fish though.... :D

They do look a bit scary I guess  But, they are very peaceful. They are a more rare cory that not a lot of people have seen, so they seem very different, which I like :good:

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! Keep them coming :good:

Stunning, not scarey at all - it's character

Wish they had them in my LFS (although Trimar do barbatus, which are a little bit like these) :D

Yep, Scleromystax barbatus are a nice looking fish. They arent actually a cory and like colder water. I would like to set up a tank for them that was colder, but I dont know how I would keep it cool enough. Plus they get close to 4" B)
