New Cories :)

I got my second lot of cories today. The first lot I bought all died of something I couldn't work out what it was . But, I got some today. Two cories, labelled as Schwartz but I've got a feeling they are C. ornatus. I need to check though. I also need to try and find another buddy for them, there were only two left. They were £1.75 each . Reckon I should get some peppered to go with them?

Well, after further thouhgt, I'm not sure if they're either I pulled out ambiacus as a close match, and blochi, but the nose is the wrong shape... Also lamberti. I dunno, Inch, do you know? The reason I don't think they're schwartzi is that the spots on the body aren't in lines as such...

Bump.... Anyone got any ideas? Or comments? Was I right all along and are they schwartzi?

Yeah, I saw that, that looks like 'em But I'll check anyway, gives me an excuse to make a list of other cories I like Unfourtunaltely theres an awful lot like mine

I'm sorry, but I can't help you out with these. There are so many different possibilities among the spotted corys that it makes my eyes blur just looking at the reference books.

LOL, yes. I think I'll stick with them being leucomelas, I'm not that bothered about what they are. I got a good deal whether they're aeneus or jullii, at £1.75 each I couldn't really go wrong Just to get them some peppered buddies now, I can just about squeeze 3 in
