New Cockatoos

Sorry... I was just picturing you 'trying to stop them' from breeding...

picturing a man with a small net chasing two fish around a tank while they are trying to... well... you know what I was picturing...

Actually, I don't think you'll have a breeding "pair." My male breeds with all the ladies  . Yes, all apistos can cross-breed (correct me if I'm wrong), just like some livebearers can cross-breed.

The spawning behaviors of the females are quite extrordinary! And, boy, are they beautiful when they are bright yellow with velvet-black lines!

So, in fact, I now have a trio of dwarf cichlids. My original plan was to have 1 male cockatoo and 2 females. Now I have 1 male agassizi, 1 female and 1 female cockatoo. Is this a good ratio? Am I done?
