New cichlid tank

I I where to get 2 sevrums and 1 blue acara grow them out then add a small Oscar would this work? I know it’s basically maxing out the 120 but I have seen tanks similar

I would have a school of Severums then just a couple of others. Like I have said above you can't even guess what will work until you have the fish, and as always you need a second tank for when things turn to custard.

I don’t really want so many of the same tho honestly just 1 sevrum 1 acara and some other similar sized cichlids maybe convicts a GT but I hear those can get aggressive pretty fast.

Cichlids are highly intelligent fish with one purpose in life and that is to reproduce. I personally think it is cruel to just keep one of any species of Cichlid they need to be kept in pairs or family groups if they are going to be happy. They often start beating each other up when they get bored with life ( in my opinion)

If you have an all male tank of cichlids you will have less problems with aggression. You can also have an all female tank but the males usually have better colours and fins. However, single sex tanks stop the fish from being able to breed and this isn't necessarily the best for the fish.

I have said to someone before talking about keeping Cichlids individually in a tank. How would you like to be living alone in your house with a whole lot of different monkeys but no other humans, what would you do!!!!.

Are the monkeys house trained?
Do they smoke or have parties?
Have they been vaccinated for covid19?

If they have been vaccinated, don't drink, smoke or take drugs, don't party and put the seat down, then welcome home monkeys

I live alone in a house and don't have any monkeys

The monkeys are partially house trained but fart terribly, they don't smoke or have parties. But do sit on your head at night. They always complain that they can't get out. They also blame you for their predicament.
