New Chiclid Tank Ideas

So i have had a 30 gallon fishtank in the badement for years housing one lonely goldfish and ive decided on bringing it up stairs and making it an African chiclid tank , its a 30g standard ,what's a great set up for chiclids consist of ? I herd there rock dwellers , how is that accomplished in a home aquarium.

For a 30G id recommend a nice Tang set-up (Tanganyikan cichlid's) maybe a few shellies (Lamprologus species) with a good amount of shell's scattered along the bottom of your tank. Then maybe some julie's (Julidochromis species) then a more open water species to fill out the top half in your aquarium nicely.
