New Camera

Sadly, 3 cories passed away. I miss them. I think it was because I stocked to fast. I won't buy another swordtail or the 3 cories for another week, maybe a little more. I have a 20 watt full-spectrum bulb (made by coral-life) and flourish excel as CO2. The site I got them at said they don't need much lighting (.5 watts per gallon and more) and no CO2. I just bought flourish excel for a little benefit, even though I don't need it. I found out that auto, no flash, and macro make great pics. Look at this:

The reason I don't have many pics is because My fish don't stay still! Yes, that one was taken with flash- it was my first pic of the day and I forgot to turn the flash off before I took the picture. Those are some nice fish nelly!

thanks mAte......try it with the red eye flash on...take at slight angle....got to take loads to find one your happy with :good: looking good mind....thats how i used to take pics til someone told me how to do this

What is the red eye flash? Does it get rid of red-eye on people? How would you do it on a cannon camera? And for the angle... left and right or up and down?

ok maybe you dont have this.....its a picture of an eye.....otherwise try the normal flash......try from angle down/up/left/right you will find whats best....only slight so you dont catch the flash on the glass :good:

Hi shockshockshad :)

You have a beautiful tank.

Sorry to hear about your corys and hope you get some more soon.

Now all of my cories have passed away. I have done some reasearch and I think my fish have gotton the illness HEMORHAGIC SEPTICEMIA (sorry it is in caps- I copied it from the website and it was in caps there. I didn't want to type the long words) at the fish store I got them at. They died so quickly because of the stress of getting in a new tank plus the illness. For the pictures.... use the flash? And just angle it up, use a higher ISO (I figured out how to do that) and use macro mode?
