Apparently at one time he had a massive case of fin rot,being his tail is half gone,somehow it healed and is growing back nicely.

Heather, he is gorgeous. I love his pearl body....funny how you can find some of the best bettas at walmart....we don't have bettas at our walmarts though. Hmph.

There is no such thing as an ugly betta. He looks a little rough,but he has a new home now to perk up in.

FM,my walmart here in town doesn't have them either. I had to go to missouri to get bettas. If ya lived closer I could hook you up. They have tons of em.

They has some striped ralphael cats there,OMG those are the ugliest things I have ever seen!! I'm fighting myself to go back and get a couple. Must....have.

Those ralphaels looked so friggin awesome. They were $7 apiece,tho. This white girl be near broke. I'm still countin change to go get some. They were so ugly they were fascinating.

I like him mucho! The color on his body is really quite stunning. To me it looks like the inside of a clam shell... however odd that may sound, it's really a compliment! They're very pretty.

Edit: Forgot to say, I'm glad to see your Walmart is using the big cups now too! And it looks like it was even full! Mine use the big ones now too, but only fill em half way. Pointless. And now I'm hoping the gals will get big cups too as they're still in teeny ones.

Actually julie,his cup was full of dirty pooped up blue water about an inch deep. In the car on the way home,he tumped over and I didn't see it. ) We had to make an emergency stop at my sister's house to fill him back up. He lived in a few drops of water for like 10 miles. He is tough,I named him Nails. Thanks for the compliment.

iloveyou,he does have the crowny points on his anal fin. I'm sure his tail was gorgeous at one time,when he actually had it all.
