I think I see a small bubble nest in the 2nd to last picture. You know, the bubbles along the rim of the bowl. Mine make bubble nests all the time.

Cullen is a cutie....very beautiful!

On a side note its not the water in your tank that is cycled its the filter, water out of the tank isnt actually the best thing to use as it will probably have higher nitrates than your tap water.

Ah, good point. I stand corrected. But unfortunately I can't use the tap water, because it's terrible (I actually bring in water from the city to use for my water changes). Which means using the water from my 33 is probably the best option right now.

I'm afraid not... and I thought that Max was one-of-a-kind... it was just so uncanny - same markings and everything... even the same expressions from all the pics you posted!! So it just goes to prove you have GREAT taste in bettas!!

I did notice the tiniest bit of difference between our boys... your Cullen has a bit more blue on his body than my Max does - but Cullen is still the closest in looks to my Max that I've yet seen! Thanks for sharing those pictures! I LOVE seeing all the pics of Cullen you have!

I noticed that too, I just wasn't sure if it was the angle of the picture or if Cullen did have more blue. They are still very close, it's pretty amazing! Awwh, thanks for your compliment about my pictures. I try to take some good (in focus) ones! Plus I know how much I like looking at pictures of people's bettas, so I try to do the same.
