They are so stunning! I have two lolHey all,
I just finished off the stock in my 29 with a male bolivian ram. He's super pretty, I'll attach photos soon!
So cool! He found a cave and is just looking around and swimming out every once in a while. They are so stunning! I have two lol
Ik, super underrated! I'll post pictures once I'm done with my world history assignmentCongrats! Another fish on the list of ones I'd like to have at some point. Really pretty, easy and under-rated by all accounts! Looking forward to seeing photos of yours
2? Is it a pair?I just got 2 for my 29G, they are really neat fish, fun to watch....my only cichlids, besides a single angel in my 40B
I think they're both males, but not 100% sure...2? Is it a pair?
Thank you....yes, wanted a M/F pair, but the LFS only had these two...I keep a close eye on them, but they have gotten along great, so far...as you say, plenty of other fish in the tank to occupy them...my biggest fear was that they'd munch on my RCS, but they just look at them and move onYea those definitely have male coloration. Should be fine because you have dither fish, but monitor aggression cuz these guys can get nasty amongst themselves. Very nice fish btw!
I've been contemplating getting a single angelfish for my 57 gallon in the future, but never had an angel before. Do you think they're okay being the only one of their kind? I know that they're territorial when breeding/if two paired and you had six in the tank, that the two would terrorise or even kill the others.I just got 2 for my 29G, they are really neat fish, fun to watch....my only cichlids, besides a single angel in my 40B
He's already very pretty! And if he's a juvenile, and he probably is, then his colours are only going to get better when he matures!Im bad at fish photos but that's him. The camera doesn't do justice to how pretty his fins are.
Should be fine, my angel is with 2 gouramis, corys, a pleco, and dozens of tetras and cherry barbs...he keeps to himself, but is very active...I've been contemplating getting a single angelfish for my 57 gallon in the future, but never had an angel before. I guess, I've only had social and peaceful species before, so an angel would be new ground for me!
