Well I went to a private breeder today to purchase I nice betta with a good strain. Anyway I found him. He is quite young around 5 months old. He is blue with the ends of his fins being red with green strips. He has a few turqoise patches. Anyway I added him to my tank with my female bettas (Don't do this if you don't know what your doing) Anyway I wanted to see how they reaceted to a young male. Well it wasn't too good. As soon as he got in one of the females decided to take head role in the heirachy and started chasing everything...in fact my male and other female were hiding together. Anyway hes in a 5g at the moment growing up...I'll put him back in when he can defend himself a bit You see fish are so intellegent so when a female decides to atack a male all he does is flare his fins and the oponent fish suddenly thinks its grown in size...well when this one did it he was about the size of the female
Well all up 7 but in this tank two. Well alls good now I put him in again for another shot and he's chasing them now Good news for me. He almost instantenously started building a bubblenest. He's really young. I'll get a pick up soon The females are ready both have there cord hanging out (White spot where eggs come out)
