Well, as you all know, one betta is never enough :D . My boyfriend has agreed we can get another one, but there isn't much room in the flat. I would like a tank that is at least 25 litres, but no more than 35 litres. If possible I would like to add some pygmy corys to the tank so it needs to be big enough for that. I like the look of the Arcadia Arc tank and I also like the Aqua cube 40. I'm assuming that even if they come with filters I'll have to downgrade as they'll be too strong?

I'd just like to know what tanks people have that they really like and have worked well with a betta. Also what filter to try, it needs to be really silent. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I also want to know if there's anything that can be used to paint a background onto the inside of a tank? I tried putting a background on my existing betta tank and he went mad flaring at his reflection. I'd like one on the new tank but don't like the things you stick on as it makes it hard to attach the heater and filter to the back wall.

Thanks :)

I have this one for my Lotus, the filter is fine that it comes with. I do attach sponge to the outlet so the flow is gentle. Lovely tank :good:

I am not sure on the lids for the aqua cubes? If it is anything like my Arcadia Arc there are some pretty opens bit in the lid for a Betta to jump out (I have endlers and Embers in there)

Good luck finding what you want x

I have that tank as a spare. I bought it second hand so it didn't come with anything, if it does come with a filter when bought new I have no idea what that's like. But that was Bronson's tank before I upgraded him to his 12 gallon and he was really happy in it :good:

I have the arcadia arc 35L tank devided for two bettas and an apple snail each!
When I brought it I threw the filter as In my opinion it was icky!!
I got and azoo 150 HOB Filter for it and it has an ajustable speed and the bettas do fine with it on half way, Its not noisey itself but it has the trickling water back in to the tank, which i personally like.
(there is pics in the journals and pics section!)

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll probably go for the arc 35l, if I can make room for it, but it looks like both those tanks would be great. I'll post pictures when I'm done setting it up :D

Do try eBay, tons of cheap tanks around that size on there, all over the UK :good:
