just got my first beta on sat( i did research before)... but some how he not eating, n he not that acitivite either... i am thinking he just a lazy type... is he sick? is there anything i can do?
i am feeding him beta bites

Post waters stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph,temp, what size bowl or tank is it.

Its very normal for new bettas not to eat in the first few days after you bring them home. They take some time to get settled in their new environment. Keep offering him food, he'll eat.

make sure the temperature is near to 80f.

well i don't do any of those chemical check... the temp should be ~ 25-26C or maybe a bit lower cuz i put it under a lamp... well i don't know why but the boy isn't swimming alot... he like to stay at the bottom, not sure if he is sleeping or not... he only move when i kinda tap the bowl to c if he is alive, i know it bad for him so i stop..... still he is not eating, maybe get him some blackworm tm, cuz a friend got me this beta n he fed it some blackworm before giving it to me, so hopeful he will eat

It would be helpful if you can get a test kit to check the water. Can you get to a LPS soon? Test kits aren't that expensive.

He could possibly just be board you know. For my new fishy, I gave him the reflective side of a CD to flair at (for only a few minutes...no more than 5 or he'd go crazy!) and ever since, he's been swimming about patroling and acting like a betta, including attacking his food :)

Prizm's idea is excellent. If you have a small hand mirror, that works quite well, too. Other than that, anything that's reflective works well. Also, most Bettas seem to REALLY hate pen lids, so if you point one in their direction, they'll usually flare.

My guy did that the first two days he was with me. He would just be laying at the bottom of the tank going up to the top only for air. He also didn't eat for a day or two. They just need some time to adjust. You could try stimulating him with some flare time to get him going a bit.
