So we got cheap Zebra Danio's to keep our 10G Hospital cycling. This past week, they have had a new patient and been good to her. She died in mid medications. So of course, I stopped medication, scooped her out, and did a water change (they were due, about now, but was going to wait for the medication to be finished) They have begun jumping out of the water. Here and there I can hear little splashes!
Is this normal for a danio? I have been unable to find much information on them, and it's just the little ones doing it.

Often when fish try jumping out of water they are not happy with their water parameters and something is wrong. Hence the reason they are trying to jump out!

Also when treating other fish, I would not suggest just putting them in with your danios as this could make the sick fish more sick!
