My new cories just got here and im about to begin getting them adjusted. I got:

8 Corydoras axelrodi
6 Corydoras sp. cf. aeneus(peru_green_stripe)

Pictures to follow once they settle in.

Congratulations on your new arrivals, can't wait to see them! :) Where did you buy them from?

Hi Barracuda518 :)

I'm glad to hear they arrived. The waiting is often the most stressful part when you buy corys that have to be shipped.

Can't wait to see the pictures! :D

I got them on Aquabid from the seller BetterBettas. Its the second time Ive ordered from him, and both times were great. I recommend checking with him first if you are looking to buy some cories online.

I always see Corys I love on AquaBid, but it seems most people in the US only ship airport to airport when sending them over to the UK. And I don't know how to sort out the transport from the airport to here, without fetching them myself.. :/

Yeah, Im sorry about that. I didnt even think about your location. Is there not a LFS around you that sells unqiue cories? I have seen lots of people post about unqiue cories from the UK.

I can get special orders on lazer corys at one of my local shops, but he wants £9 for each. Thats like $16 in the US I feel.. I think I am going to take another trip down to pinxton (wharf aquatics) and see what they can sort out for me.

Thats close to what I payed for mine when you include the price of shipping...

Here are a couple of pictures of the green lasers. Remember, this is one day after they arrived. I think they have colored up a lot since I got them. The orange lasers are very young and not showing their true colors yet.

 Those green lazers are amazing. They all look really good, gorgeous cories. Great pics.

:D

Hi Barracuda518 :)

They look wonderful! Congratulations on your new additions.

I've found BettrerBettas to be one of the more reliable sellers on AquaBid. He always has a big selection of unusual corys to choose from too. :D

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone B)

I agree. I have had two fairly big orders with him and both were very successful. The axelrodi have settled in and are feeding very well, thats if they can get the food away from my fat albino c. aeneus  They have hit a growth spurt

Woah ! They are amaaaaazing  And those green lazers espeically are just stunning !!

Here in the UK the greens, golds and orange all sell for around £10 - at least the ones I've seen. So not cheap :/

Nice looking corys you got there ;)

Thanks for all the wonderful comments Jason & Roxy. We go to great lengths to make sure we provide an excellent product as well as packing and shipping.

Incidentally, those interested in "rarer" species we are expecting to have from our QT (quarantine house)
next week:

S. barbatus (formerly C. barbatus ) Scleromystax Barbatus

S. macropterus (formerly) C. macropterus Scleromystax macropterus

Scleromystax macropterus is listed in an account of Brazilian fishes threatened by extinction and is therefore not allowed to be collected, traded or even bred by aquarists in Brazil. Scleromystax barbatus are not far away from that list either. We are fortunate enough to have been able to obtain some.

Best Regards,
Bryan
