I just wanted something they could hide in. Also, I added some fake plants (on a budget rn) to make it look fully planted

Water Sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides/ cornuta) is a good plant for those on a budget. Buy one plant and let it float on the surface. After a month you will have lots of plants and can plant them in the gravel where they grow into lovely light green shrubs

People are going into a post and then seeing the list of related posts underneath it and clicking on them without looking at dates. We will have some software updates soon that will hopefully help out in this type of situation.
