Hey all. I couldnt resist going to the lfs today as it is my day off and it is right around the corner. I find that I spend at least two hours there when I go. lots of fun they have a fantastic selection and decent prices :) and good sales:) anyways.. My royal gramma was realy picking on my clown so I moved him to my mothers house where she has a 55g that she just set up for her house... im jelous.... anyways i got a six line warasse, and the compatability is much better. they even hang out together hide under the same overhang and the like. anyways I just thought I would give you all a stocking update pictures soon to come.

6 scarlet reef hermits
5 blue legged hermits
1 pepermint shrimp
7 various snails

Royal gramma
Sixline warasse

Goniopora lobata (i know these are verry hard to take care of but, giving it a go worst case I will trade it for something else) Green just put it in today
fuzzy shrooms red green tips
reg red shrooms
3 frags of acropora fuzzy staghorn (I think)
1 frag red (neon green under antics) staghorn

Im having a hard time finding a aquascape plan that is working... as I have a lot of rock and I know it it makes for great caves but frustrating for corals... any suggestions welcomed on how to figure this puzzle out.

anyway I will get pics up sometime today.

full tank shot I know the right side of the tank looks um... less than great... it is just that big white rock I dont know what to do with.. uggg

How old is the tank, it doesnt seem that mature to be having goniopora and acropora....

the tank is a year and a half old... just upgraded and added bout 10lbs ish of new live rock.... yes I cured it.. the new rocks have been in there just over 6 weeks. so it may not look that maure but.. it is all in good keeping. it is my life right now so waterchanges are plentyfull and feeding is careful various and precice.:)-)) its been a long time waiting for coral

Looks like you added mroe than 10lbs. a good majority of the rock looks barren. There are a few pieces that look like they have good algae growth, but alot just look like they have been just bought.

Good job on keeping the glass clean though. I take you clean all surfaces as I don't see a spec of growth on the back wall?

some of my old rock is hiding as to mke the caves the old rocks have more surface area on them and are larger. hence why they are in the back they are making the structures stable. there are about 8 larger old pieces and a bunch of litteler new ones.. hence why the newer ones are the roof tops and making great holes for my fishies .. I do like my glass happy and sparkly... until the coraline algae really takes affect then I will leave the back glass alone. everying is happy in there and all my tests check out... my nitrates are at 0 and I have seagel and Purgen in my canister filter and use filter floss for about 3 hours after I do a water change then toss it just to catch some of the floting junk. all food is target fed and I have a feeding ring for my fish that I put in at feeding time which seems to contain the food better... for them. anyways its fun and time intensive and itsthe way I like it hehehe. I work and play with my tank and that is about it. when Im not watching cleaning or feeding Im on the puter which is right next to it researching about it. lots of fun
