I know this was a illegal move, but i was out fishing for trout the other day and really in my line with a lil bit of rainbow power bait on it and like 2-3 feet of shore a little 2-3 inch large mouth bass bit my line so i said hey i got a nice tank for him to be living in, i decided to take him/her home so see how the fish will grow up iv had it 5 days now and he is doing fine he is actually living in a tank with my koi and 2 plecos along with some fancy tail guppies and 2 golden loaches and he has been doing really well but for the time being i am looking for a new tank as i want to set up a native tank wich will inclue bass crappie bluegill and maybe some others but any ideas just on the bass for now like i said he is between 2-3 inchs i was wondering are they big enough to eat little fedder guppies at this point or should i just feed him cut up worms? But any suggestions would be nice and thanks

Being a bass, when he grows up he will eat all of your fancy guppies which in my opinion shouldn't be kept with koi as koi are a type of goldfish and guppies are tropical. How big is your tank?

Hey!!! have you seen dose things when they get around 4kg's..... Your Oscars will be in danger!!

yea i know he will grow up but for now all the koi and fancy tail catfish i have in the tank are all bigger then my bass, besides my fancy tail guppies as they are all female sin this tank but they have been living together for over 3 months and everything is ok with no diseases, but this is also just a temp for my bass as i did not know that i was gonna be bringing him home as i was just going out fishing for thr fun and maybe dinner but never expected to bring home an edition to my family of fish, but also sorry to say this to all you super fish lovers who dont really like fish to be fed to fish but the fancy tail guppies i have in the same tank as the bass are all the end of the strain of colors as they have bred so much that there color is no longer useful that is y they are all females in here i do not want them to breed as they are my old extra guppies i already have another tank that my breeding guppies are in luckily i have about 12 frey in there maybe 3 weeks old, but sorry to go so far off topic but yes i know my bass will eat them if he does he does as i have pleaty others, and again sorry for all you people who think fish should not eat fish

Um why would you bring bass home just because he's "cool" additional in tank? Largemouth bass are terrible aquarium fish, too aggressive toward to ANY fish and your bass will become ugly when it grow up. You need 250gals to keep a single adult bass. And don't do native aquarium if you don't research on them first. Check out with your laws of your state to see if they're legal. And what size of tank did you keep the koi, plecos, loaches and bass in?

Plus don't assumed that we're "super fish lovers", that's little offended.
