New 80 Gallon

basically under spiney eels, the 2 species that can be kept in an 80 gallon would be the zig zag and peacock eel. zig zags are the smallest of spiney eels, getting to around 6" if i can recall correctly. peacock eels get to around 10" which is small compared to the fire eel of 2' and tire track eel of something larger. lol. i dont know that much about tire tracks.

if you are gona get eels, i would suggest you obtain sand as a substrate rather than gravel. it looks nicer with sand too imo :hyper:

I do like sand, but how would one maintain it all in that size tank. Is there a website somewhere? I've tried sand before without a lot of luck.
