Well, here is what I want my set up to be. I have the Magnum 350 plus the BIO wheel 60 pro attached. I want to know if anyone has used this set up? It was very expensive but I have heard good things about the MarineLand products. I also have a pengiun power head for 55 gallon tanks that I can attach instead of attaching it too the magnum 350.

This is my problem. I can hook the bio wheel to the power head and there by keeping the flow out of the magnum at its peak, or I can hook the bio wheel to the magnum 350 and run the power head on the other end of the tank for increased surface agitation.

Then of course I can just leave the power head out all together!

Well, here is my opinion.

I think I should hook the bio wheel to the canister that way the powerhead will be free for surface agitation on the other side of the tank.

I think I will add a long tube to the the power head with a strainer at the bottom and stuff the tube with filter floss/filter foam. Since I am using sand this will keep it from jamming up the powerhead.

Also I will add some carbon between the floss/foam for just a little extra filtration.

This is my plan I would really like some input.

So feel free to post any ideas or criticims! :D
