Some LFS do sell these cultured plants in tubs, simply like a circular Tupperware tub.

Plants that are sold from the LFS aquarium is more likely to have snails or unwanted algae or even unwanted pest so slightly more risky but rinsing throughly under tap and checking all the stems and leaves as well as doing a mild bleach dip on those particular plants may help in eradicating any snails or eggs, not guaranteed but likely to work.

Just to give you an idea of what cultured plants are like and prices. I’ve bought plants from Tropica quite a number of times and never had an issue with them.

There are of course other online website who sell similar cultured plants maybe a bit cheaper.

Shop around anyhow and see what you like.
