I have a 75-gallon freshwater tank. I only have 3-4 nerite snails and they cannot keep up with cleaning up my tank: walls, rocks, plants, etc. How much do you all think I need for this size tank? I'm thinking another dozen or so. Thoughts?

Keep in mind that I do regular 50% weekly water changes
Clean the gravel
AND scrub the glass

and still it seems the snails are making me do all the work!

You can’t really expect 4 snails to keep a 75 gallon tank. You could get a few BNP’s depending on your water parameters.

Decrease light and feeding will decrease algae.
BNP eat more wood than algae and produce more waste than they clean.
Nerite snails are perfect algae eaters. Stay small dont repoduce and eat lots of algae.
Get a few more or throw in some ramshorn snails though they easily reproduce

Rams Horns will reproduce very fast, just a warning. They also look terrible. All of these little snails hanging on your glass. :/
