No its much too small. Try a few flowerhons or red belly pirahnas :p
Ooh good idea I hadn't thought of that, a nice shoal of 10-15 male flowerhorns would get on like a house on fire in that tank. :D

Come on people, this person asked a serious question and it's now turned into a joke, not being funny but some people may not know your only joking about putting these tank busting species into a small aquarium!

We all had to start somewhere... I remember, my boss recently said no body can teach me anything I don't know about birds, ( I'm a zoo keeper ) he's only twenty something! I laughed when I heard this and said what a load of rubbish.. You never stop learning, there is always something new to learn.

Sorry for my rant, but felt I should say something! Bettauk

only that its impossible unless you're that first japanese dude who did it.

i think it can only be done in asia, cause of the zen and stuff :p

I dont think people were specifically taking the mick out of the guy/girl who started the thread, jsut out of people in general who keep huge fish in small tanks without doing research first. strawberry19 is obviously researching what fish to keep before buying them so it's all good. :)

The only occupants suitable for a 1.5g tank would be a betta, a couple of african dwarf frogs, or some shrimp.

I wasn't taking the mic. The Q had already been answered fully IMO, so we were having a luagh. :grr: some people have no sense of humour. Damn, I just realised some people is me :p

Lol only jokes. Dont mean to hjack the thread, but does anybody know anything about breeding neons?
Breeding neons is a fairly simple job, just condition them well with live foods before moving a male and female to a breeding tank where a cool water change should have them dropping eggs in no time.
Raising the fry is a little more difficult as they are so small but having several insofuria cultures on the go should supply you with enough food.
