neons

None. Its too small. Even though neons are small fish, they need to be in a school of at least 3-4 and a tank that small isn't going to afford the group the swimming area they need. Pretty much the only thing that can fit in a 1.5g is a betta.

How many neons can go in a 1.5 gallon tank?
about 780 if you run them through a blender first.

edit: I'm sorry, it's 3:15am and I'm tired. My sense of humour gets a little.... strange in the early hours of the morning...

I don't think you should put any neons in that tank. They like to be in a shoal of at least five or so and they need plenty of swimming room. You could try a betta or maybe an ADF or ghostshrimp. Make sure you know what cycling is too (sorry if you already know that).

 Ewww! I think I prefer orange juice!
So you'd prefer a goldfish smoothie then?

Seriously though, as Parker originally said, That tank really is too small for a group of pretty much anything.

You options are severly limited. :/
